Job summary

Ceragon Networks seeks a Field Technician II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain wireless communications equipment across multiple sites. You will configure broadband and narrowband radios, test DC power systems, and work with engineers to resolve issues via CLI. Extensive travel and on-call duties may apply.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in wireless communications, and RF knowledge; an associate degree or certified training in radios is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of experience with wireless or network communications.
• Technical school or an associate degree in electrical or IT preferred.
• RF field experience and basic RF principles required.
• Certification/training in configuring and troubleshooting broadband and narrowband radios.
• Experience with repeaters/duplexers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install wireless network equipment including radios, antennas, modems.
• Configure radio equipment including slave/subscriber radios.
• Troubleshoot wireless network equipment.
• Install field networking equipment like routers, switches, POE injectors.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot/configure routers and switches via CLI.
• Test and terminate ethernet/coax cabling (CAT5e/6/6A, RG, LMR, fiber).
• Install conduit and power systems; manage DC battery arrays and UPSs.
• Travel up to 75% to job sites and maintain documentation.
