Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communications systems for diverse clients. You will diagnose, repair, program, and install Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, and Vertex equipment across UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz networks.

You will interpret schematics, configure DAS/BDA systems, and test with RF equipment. Occasional regional travel and on-call duties are required; CET certification and an electronics background are preferred, with an associate degree or

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of RF theory and propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Experience with MS Office and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with DAS/BDA systems and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz).
• Create mid-level programming codeplugs (12+ channels, trunking, multiple zones).
• Travel regionally and perform on-call duties as required.
• Diagnose, repair, and program Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment.
