Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communication systems. You will be the heart of service locations, delivering exceptional customer service while applying technical skills to create innovative solutions that meet complex needs.

Responsibilities include programming codeplugs, installing UHF/VHF and DAS/BDA systems, and recommending gear that fits customer requirements. Some travel and on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years of Service Technician experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola/Kenwood/ICOM/Vertex equipment in 2-way radio/ wireless field.
Strong knowledge of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation across bands.
Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Create Mid-Level Programming Codeplugs (12+ Channels, Trunking, Multiple Zones).
Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz, DAS/BDA systems).
Recommend equipment that meets customer requirements.
Some regional/overnight travel and on-call hours may be required.
