Job summary

BearCom is hiring a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communications systems. You will contribute to on-site service, diagnose issues, and ensure customer satisfaction across projects including UHF/VHF, Dispatch Consoles, and DAS/BDA systems.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in service tech roles with RF knowledge, proficiency with testing tools, and a valid driver’s license. Extensive on-the-job training is provided. Regional travel and on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment in the 2-way radio wireless field.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz) including dispatch consoles, DAS/BDA and related systems.
• Create mid-level programming codeplugs (12+ channels, trunking, multiple zones).
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical solutions meeting customer needs.
• Travel regionally and possibly overnight; on-call hours required.
