Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Field Technician to support the Engineering & Operations team across the Washington DC metro area and Baltimore corridor. You will work as a generalist covering technical support, project management, and operational support within complex environments.

The role requires experience in radio access networks, wireless backhaul, and 5G NR, with a focus on network performance, reliability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years of working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years of wireless telecommunications or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
