Job summary

BearCom, a leading distributor of wireless voice, data, and video solutions, seeks a Field Service Manager in Heath, OH. You will supervise field technicians and installers, coordinate projects, and interface with customers and vendors to deliver installations and service tasks.

The role requires 5+ years of technical leadership in wireless environments, strong project management, and excellent client relations. Some travel and on-call duties apply; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in technical management in wireless industry or similar.
• Experience developing new business opportunities via customer interface.
• Knowledge of vendor resource networks and partnerships.
• Experience managing complex project implementations.
• Understanding of business practices and P&L responsibilities.
• Excellent customer relationship skills and communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Field Service Department in the assigned area.
• Manage a team of technicians and installers across projects.
• Act as liaison between BearCom technicians, Motorola, and customers.
• Prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for installations and repairs.
• Organize and schedule upcoming field work and provide on-site leadership.
• Deliver hands-on technical support and ensure system performance.
• Install, maintain and service wireless equipment including radio systems.
• Conduct site surveys, FATPs, and document results per customer requirements.
• Train and coach field service staff; travel and on-call may be required.
