Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install and support wireless communications systems. You will be a frontline technician delivering service across locations and ensuring customer satisfaction with practical, imaginative solutions.

The role requires hands-on electronics work, radio equipment knowledge, and the ability to travel regionally and be on-call as needed. We provide extensive on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing equipment in the 2-way radio wireless field.
• Extensive knowledge of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation characteristics.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Create basic programming codeplugs (less than 12 channels).
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two-way radios and related wireless equipment.
• Some regional/overnight travel and on-call hours may be required.
