Qualifications

• CDL required for position.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to move 50 pounds and perform physical activities for long periods.
• Willingness to work unpredictable/non-traditional hours during winter operations.
• Ability to operate specialized traffic equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate highway maintenance and traffic equipment to keep roads in good condition.
• Move and load supplies and materials.
• Perform winter operation duties including snow and ice removal.
• Respond to emergencies such as cleanup, traffic control, and lane closures.
• Maintain equipment with basic repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Record job activities in Work Management System and follow safety policies.
