Job summary

Gallo is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Representative to join our onsite team in California. You will engage guests with informative wine presentations, assist with daily operations, and help create a welcoming experience that reflects our brand's heritage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing, or teaching and educating others experience.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Required to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
• Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
• Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
• Skilled in basic arithmetic operations for transactions.
• Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Travel to company offices, sites, and meeting locations up to 5% of the time for onboarding, training, and events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing activities for the tasting room.
• Process purchases and orders, stock merchandise, and maintain inventory.
• Support hospitality events and guest experiences in a welcoming environment.
• Keep the tasting room clean, organized, and ready for guests.
• Represent the brand professionally and collaborate with colleagues to meet goals.
