Job summary

Silver Oak Cellars LLC seeks a Tasting Room Support to assist daily Retail and Sales Operations within the tasting room of our winery in California. The role involves wine service, setup and breakdown for tastings, and high attention to cleanliness and organization.

You will help with guest services, restock, and assist with wine orders and merchandise, while maintaining a professional appearance and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of similar experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 years preferred.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dry stemware.
• Set up and break down for tastings, vertical tastings and pairings.
• Refill guest water glasses throughout the day.
• Pull Chef’s Boards and Vertical Cheese Boards for reservations.
• Assist hosts in pulling wine orders for guest purchases.
• Assist guests by taking wine purchases to their vehicle.
• Restock clean glasses at all tasting areas.
• Put away weekly wine order.
• Keep Wine Room neat and orderly; ensure box tops are removed on each SKU.
• Update manager on supply backstock (bags, boxes, breadsticks, shippers).
• Spot sweep guest service areas regularly.
