Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Wine Educator to create welcoming guest experiences, sharing wine knowledge, winery history, and brand stories. You will guide tastings, provide glass and bottle service, and support tours while assisting day-to-day visitor center operations including reservations and POS tasks.

You will engage with guests, collaborate with the team, and uphold a polished guest experience in indoor and outdoor settings, contributing to hospitality events and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing, or teaching and educating others experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide educational tastings and provide glass and bottle service.
• Support tours, and help guests discover wine and non-wine products in the tasting room.
• Assist with day-to-day visitor center operations, including reservation management and POS transactions.
• Support wine club signups, inventory, and opening/closing activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready environment and assist with hospitality events.
