Job summary

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking a service-oriented candidate to join the Sales Support Team at our New York headquarters. This role serves as a bridge between the sales and administrative teams through sales order entry, inventory oversight, reporting, and cross-department liaison.

Ideal candidates will multitask and communicate effectively, with 2 years of wine/spirits experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and iOS.

Qualifications

• 2 years wine/spirits industry experience (restaurant, retail, wholesale).
• Knowledge of major wine regions, producers and grape varieties.
• Effective communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Familiarity with iOS devices and applications.
• Strong Internet navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales Order Entry via phone and email.
• Order management for app, web and automated orders.
• Sales Team Support and Customer Service.
• Delivery ETAs and Reporting.
• House account sales and event support.
• Interdepartmental support (Logistics, Finance, Design, Events & Compliance).
• Special Projects for customers, suppliers, sales and operations.
