Regal Wine Company, a luxury wine distributor, seeks an Assistant Sales Associate to support Account Sales Executives across California districts. This role emphasizes maintaining shelf distribution, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and building strong relationships with store personnel.

Weekly travel within California is required, with potential transition to Account Executive as opportunities arise. The position offers bonus eligibility, cell phone, and various sales incentives.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Able to work early mornings, Monday to Friday.
• Willing to transition to Account Executive when openings arise, territory-dependent.
• Travel within California up to 6 times per year for education/training.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively and perform bending/kneeling/climbing.
• Must reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Sales Executives in key chain accounts in assigned district.
• Maintain 100% shelf distribution and introduce new items and DSD products.
• Communicate pricing accurately on displays and in accounts.
• Build and merchandise displays, fill shelves and cold boxes.
• Establish rapport with store personnel and managers.
• Prepare preplans and recaps for District Manager.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to goal reviews and execution plans.
• Carry company cell phone and POS materials during work hours.
• Develop wine knowledge, business acumen and sales skills.
• Other duties as assigned by Royal District or Region Manager
