Job summary

Regal Wine Company is seeking an Assistant Sales Associate – Royal Division in California. You will support Account Sales Executives in key chain accounts, maintain shelf distribution, and sell new products while building displays and coordinating with store personnel.

Role involves travel within California, lifting up to 50 lbs, and developing wine knowledge and sales skills. Eligible for discretionary bonus and several benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a current driver’s license; maintain auto insurance and a clean driving record.
• Available to work early mornings, Monday to Friday.
• Willing to transition into Account Executive role when openings arise, territory dependent.
• Able to travel within California up to 6 times per year for education and training.
• Able to repetitively lift at least 50 lbs; able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and lift.
• Must reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Sales Executives in key chain accounts within the assigned district.
• Maintain 100% shelf distribution for all authorized items; sell in new item distributions and DSD items.
• Communicate current pricing; ensure pricing accuracy on displays and in accounts.
• Build and merchandise displays; fill shelves and cold boxes; uphold Royal Wine Company merchandising standards.
• Establish rapport with store managers and liquor department managers.
• Plan and prioritize account activities; complete preplans and recaps to District Manager.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings; assist in reviewing goals and execution plans.
• Carry company cell phone and POS materials during work hours.
• Develop wine knowledge, business acumen, and sales skills.
