Job summary

Tasting Room Expo in California seeks a guest-focused team member for its tasting room. You will greet visitors, explain experiences, and upsell private seating while capturing guest details in the reservation system.

Responsibilities include managing reservations for sister properties, guiding guests through the tasting experience, and coordinating with the Tasting Room Manager to ensure a seamless, high-quality visit. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with clear communication and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM and internet research.
• Experience or interest in using Tock and E-Winery applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality with a welcoming greeting.
• Explain and recommend guest experiences; upsell to private seating.
• Capture guest contact details accurately in the reservation system.
• Book reservations for sister properties and upsell experiences during booking.
• Be primary contact for reservation calls and emails; respond promptly.
• Confirm reservations by phone before visit date.
• Use the table management software to seat guests and minimize wait times.
• Maintain and update wait list; notify guests when tables are ready.
• Collaborate with the Tasting Room Manager to optimize guest experience.
• Assist with tasting room tasks during peak volume times as needed.
• Participate in outreach projects as assigned.
