Sterling Vineyards, a renowned Napa Valley winery, seeks a Concierge to warmly welcome guests, explain the wine experience, and manage tasting room reservations. The role emphasizes hospitality, guest service, and accurate guest information entry into the reservation system.

Weekend availability is required, with potential involvement in events, wine club promotions, and retail activities. A professional appearance and strong teamwork are essential in this high-traffic setting.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years of age.
• You have some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting.
• Exemplary customer service skills required.
• You have strong presentation skills with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production.
• You are dynamic with a positive attitude.
• You have a clean professional appearance, and you excel at teamwork and interactions.
• Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine).
• Wine industry and/or tasting room experience is highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests.
• Provide world class customer service to site visitors.
• Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities.
• Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing and floor upkeep.
• Register operations, retail sales and wine club promotions.
• Follow site policies and procedures.
• Complete projects and other duties as directed by Retail Sales Manager.
