Job summary

Amazon Development Center is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to own Windows infrastructure and transform management through Infrastructure as Code. This hands-on role focuses on building Ansible-based automation, supporting production services, and reducing manual operations while maintaining high reliability.

You will work across AD, DNS, DHCP, ECM, and Group Policy, driving security compliance and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years supporting Windows operating systems with AD, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, SCCM, and related services.
• Active, TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments: AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-service issues, providing escalation for Tier 1/2 teams.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation using Ansible and other IaC approaches.
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alarms for proactive response.
• Ensure security compliance and hardening with Security Compliance team.
