Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to support the Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) Windows stack, including Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM and Group Policy, across ADC environments for U.S. government customers.

The role is hands-on, focused on automation with Ansible and PowerShell, migrating operations to code, and sustaining production services while building scalable IaC. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Windows infrastructure services in large, enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with automation and IaC concepts and tools.
• Ability to codify configuration and deployment across multiple services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments.
• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and PowerShell automation.
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues and provide escalation support.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation.
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alarms.
• Ensure security compliance and hardening with Security team.
• Create runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in on-call rotations.
