Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to support and evolve our Windows infrastructure. You will help drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives, building Ansible-based automation while maintaining day-to-day operations across multiple ADC environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting Windows operating systems with core services (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Experience automating tasks and configurations, ideally with PowerShell.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph must be held.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments (AD, DNS, ECM, Group Policy).
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues and escalate to Tier 1/2 as needed.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation; develop monitoring and runbooks.
• Define service health metrics and alarms for proactive responses.
• Ensure security compliance and hardening in collaboration with Security Compliance.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for service-impacting events.
