Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to manage foundational Windows services and push toward Infrastructure as Code.

You’ll support production Windows infrastructure, build Ansible-based automation, and troubleshoot cross-service issues to improve reliability. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and willingness to obtain commensurate clearances for government work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or qualifying IT credentials.
• 2+ years supporting Windows operating systems and core components (AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, etc).
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure across ADC environments (AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, GPO).
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to Tier 1/2 teams.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation.
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alarms.
• Ensure security compliance with Security Compliance team.
• Create and maintain runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for service-impacting events.
