Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to manage Windows infrastructure, migrate operations to code-based automation, and support production services. The role emphasizes operating across AD, DNS, DHCP, and ECM, while integrating Ansible-based automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will contribute to security compliance, on-call rotations, and documentation, with a focus on scalable, automated solutions in a government-facing cloud environment.

Qualifications

• US Government TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience administering Active Directory Windows networks and core Windows services.
• Experience building monitoring and alerting for Windows services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services: AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy across ADC environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-service issues, providing escalation support for Tier 1/2 teams.
• Migrate manual ops to code-defined automation; define and monitor service health metrics.
