Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to advance our Windows infrastructure. You will manage AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy, and push for infrastructure-as-code through Ansible across ADC environments.

The role is hands-on, focusing on automation, troubleshooting across services, and on-call participation. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required, with eligibility for agency-specific clearance for AWS work.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows infrastructure services across AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation to codify configurations and deployments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; willingness to obtain agency-specific clearance as needed.
• Hands-on experience supporting production Windows services and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across multiple ADC environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-service issues; escalate to Tier 1/2 as needed.
• Migrate manual ops to code-defined automation.
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alarms for proactive response.
• Ensure security compliance and hardening in partnership with Security Compliance team.
• Create and maintain runbooks, diagrams, and SOPs.
