Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is seeking a Production Associate 1 to operate hand tools, assemble, lift, and pack products while maintaining a safe, efficient production flow in Lexington, NC.

You will read measurements, follow standard work, and support continuous improvement to ensure quality windows for customers. A high school diploma is preferred, and cross-training across departments is possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read basic word/number cues.
• Operate power tools with care and select appropriate PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and refer to work instructions.
• Know common product defects at the workstation.
• Maintain quality in station outputs (CTQ).
• Communicate effectively: listen, explain, ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work to established rates dictated by customer demand and operations.
