Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is seeking a Production Associate 1 to perform windows and doors assembly, ensuring safety and quality while minimizing waste. You will move material through the plant, operate hand tools, and meet defined production rates across multiple departments.

You will read tape measures, use PPE, and participate in safety and training activities. This role requires physical capability and willingness to work extended hours as needed in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read basic words/numbers and recognize visuals.
• Operate power tools and select PPE appropriately.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols/PPE.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow standard work and reference instructions.
• Know product defects at workstation.
• Demonstrate CTQ and in-station quality awareness.
• Communicate clearly and ask questions when needed.
• Manage time and monitor cycle times.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Adhere to defined clean-up times.
• Work safely and follow policies.
• Follow established rate per customer demand and operations.
• Contribute to defining/improving standard work for quality windows.
• Identify and communicate problems.
