Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 2 at Aperture Solutions in North Carolina. The role focuses on windows & doors assembly, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery to customers.

You will work to minimize waste and follow established rates aligned with customer demand and standardized operations. You will read tape measures, operate power tools, and follow safety protocols while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read basic words/numbers and visual cues.
• Operate power tools with dexterity and follow PPE requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and reference work instructions.
• Recognize product defects at workstation.
• Maintain CTQ quality standards and communicate effectively.
• Manage time and be aware of cycle times.
• Perform basic math including fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assist in assembling, lifting, picking and packing products.
• Support employee engagement activities and follow clean-up times.
• Work safely and adhere to defined rates per customer demand.
• Contribute to defining and improving standard work for quality windows.
• Identify issues and communicate them promptly.
• Assist with training co-workers and maintaining a respectful workplace.
• Perform other plant duties as directed by supervision.
