Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, headquartered in Cary, NC, is hiring a Production Associate 2 for Aperture Solutions. You will assemble windows and doors, operate hand tools, read tape measures, and help ensure safe, quality production and on-time delivery.

You will follow standard work, meet rate expectations, and support a collaborative, cross-trained team environment in a high-energy plant.

Qualifications

• Read tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Basic word/number recognition and visual cues.
• Operate power tools safely and wear PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow PPE protocols.
• Understand measurements, tolerances, and standard work.
• Stand 8–10 hours, lift 50 pounds, and stay focused on quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lift, and pack products using hand tools.
• Support employee engagement activities and teamwork.
• Follow defined clean-up times and safety rules.
• Work to established rate per customer demand and operations.
• Assist in defining and improving standard work for quality.
• Cross-train across departments and perform duties as needed.
