Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, NC is hiring a Production Associate 1 for our Aperture Solutions unit. The role involves assembling windows and doors, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring we safely produce a quality product delivered on time.

You will support continuous improvement of standard work, follow safety policies, and work with urgency to maintain material flow. Cross-training across departments is expected, with emphasis on reading tape measures and following defined

Qualifications

• Read tape measures and fractions/decimals reliably.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements consistently.
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality and teamwork.
• Communicate clearly and identify quality issues promptly.
• Cross-train across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lift, pick and pack products using hand tools.
• Maintain clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work at a defined rate per customer demand and standard work.
• Contribute to defining and improving standard work for quality windows.
• Identify problems and communicate issues; assist with training.
• Support a respectful workplace and assist across plant as directed.
