Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is seeking a Production Associate 2 to perform windows and doors assembly, ensuring safety and quality while minimizing waste. You will help maintain flow, meet customer demand, and work with urgency across plant tasks.

Requirements include reading tape measures, using power tools, and following standard work. The role requires physical stamina, cross-training across departments, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read at least basic word and number recognition/visual cues.
• Operate power tools with dexterity and know when to change PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols/PPE.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow instruction and Standard Work.
• Knowledge of product defects at workstation.
• Quality recognition in station quality requirements/CTQ.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times.
• Work safely and follow safety practices.
• Meet established rate as defined by customer demand and standard operations.
• Assist in defining/improving standard work to improve quality windows for customers.
• Identify problems and communicate issues.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision or management
