Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions in Lexington, NC is seeking a Production Associate 2 to assemble windows and doors, operate hand tools, and maintain safety while meeting production rates. You will read a tape measure, use power tools, and help ensure quality products reach customers.

This role requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand 8–12 hours, and work extended or weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals
• Read basic word/number recognition and visual cues
• Operate power tools with PPE
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols
• Know measurement standards and tolerances
• Follow Standard Work and reference work instructions
• Lift 50+ pounds and stand 8–12 hours

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times.
• Work safely and follow safety policies.
• Work to established rate per customer demand and standard operations.
• Participate in defining and improving standard work for quality windows for customers.
• Identify problems and communicate issues.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision or management
