Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, seeks an entry-level Wind Technician for the TOP program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training through GWO and work on local wind sites with a service team to maintain turbines.

This full-time role requires physical ability, climbing towers, and willingness to travel up to 25%. The program emphasizes hands-on training, career development, and a path to advanced technician roles within Sky Climber and its partners.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred Associate's degree or technical training in mechanical, wind energy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
