Avangrid Power is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician for on-site operations and maintenance at the Arlington, OR wind plant. You will handle equipment repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance while following safety procedures. The role requires the ability to climb towers and work in varied weather conditions.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunity to work with a cross-functional team on wind and related projects, with travel up to 10–15% and potential overtime as needed.

Competenze

• One year college or technical school certificate or 12 months related wind industry experience.
• Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment and tools.
• Advanced computer skills for reports and control systems.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems from schematics.
• Perform repairs or replacements following OEM requirements and safety rules.
• Prepare reports and support wind plant reporting requirements.
• Support QA/QC activities and assist in plant walk-downs as needed.
