Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support the sales team by addressing technical sales issues related to wind turbines and wind farms. The role involves developing and optimizing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts for Wind Turbine Supply Agreements and Services.

You will collaborate with technical experts and customers, travel to project sites up to 25%, and ensure technical validity of proposals throughout the sales process from

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant Sales Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Energy production/distribution knowledge.
• Knowledge of alternative energy solutions and regulatory framework.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
• Willingness and ability to learn, self-manage and keep abreast of changing technical and Regulatory issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Responds to technical queries from customers and from Sales Managers.
• Prepares technical replies for sales offers/tender and deviation lists when necessary.
• Manages the technical review and coordinates internal technical departments.
• Acts as the first point of contact for customers relating to technical questions in the sales process.
• Participates in client meetings to clarify and negotiate the technical scope.
