Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables in Minnesota is seeking a TOP Wind Service Technician to join the entry-level Wind Technician Development Program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training and work as part of a service team to maintain wind turbine generators safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical tasks, strict adherence to HSE procedures, and the ability to climb towers and work at height.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• Must live within 1-hour commute to the job site
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and pass MVR check
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview before hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery and components
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
