Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables invites applicants to join the TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 program. This entry-level role focuses on safety, training accredited by the Global Wind Organization, and hands-on maintenance of wind turbine equipment.

Technicians work at wind sites near home as part of a service team, with full-time employment and comprehensive training provided on hire. Travel up to 25% and outdoor work in all weather are required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenances, operations, and upgrades.
• Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements.
• Perform work based on established work procedures.
• Document all work performed.
• Report policy or procedure violation.
• Submit progress reports.
• Repair or replace parts.
• Possess knowledge about specific activity tools and be able to use them safely.
• Occasionally work independently on a component as part of an equipment maintenance project.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, equipment, or tooling.
• Travel as required (up to 25%).
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
• Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
