Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Service Technicians program for entry-level technicians. Technicians will receive exclusive safety and technical training and work as part of a service team at wind sites near home.

The role includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine equipment, with emphasis on safe operation and proper documentation. Candidates must meet basic requirements and be able to work at height.

Qualifications

• Practical mechanical or electrical aptitude relevant to wind tech work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Good reading, writing and comprehension of English for site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and site policies.
• Perform preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine equipment.
• Document work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Travel up to 25% to wind sites and be available for overtime.
• Work at heights and in all weather conditions.
