Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking an entry-level Wind Service Technician as part of the TOP Wind Technician Development Program. The role focuses on safe wind turbine maintenance, with exclusive GWO-accredited training and a direct reporting line to the Program Manager and Site Manager.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on turbine equipment, documentation of work, and adherence to HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training preferred.
• Technical/mechanical background or wind energy exposure is advantageous.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
