Job summary

GE Vernova’s Wind Hub Technician role focuses on maintaining turbine performance through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site repairs. You will work with site leadership to fulfill contractual obligations and ensure safety and quality in daily operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year wind tech experience, and the ability to lift 45 lbs, climb towers, and work across multiple wind sites within Hub X. Relocation assistance is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs and climb towers.
• 1+ year as Wind Technician/Mechanic or completed Wind Certificate.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of turbine parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center when needed.
