Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to support turbine operations across the Nebraska hub. Local travel is required to multiple wind sites, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work with supervision from site leadership.

You will document activities, follow safety protocols, and communicate with GE's remote operations center when needed. The role involves on-site work and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Wind Certificate Program or an Associates Degree in Energy is preferred.
• Minimum electrical work experience may substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
