Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support wind site operations across the CO LW hub. The role requires local travel to multiple wind sites, executing electrical and mechanical maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and documenting work while coordinating with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines. This is not a remote position and relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; wind certificate program or associates degree in energy preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to climb towers up to 300 feet daily.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; travel within the hub.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist site operations with minimal supervision; follow safety requirements.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document work using service reporting procedures; respond to remote operations center.
