Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to perform critical turbine maintenance and support on-site across hub TX 12. You will work with Site Lead to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled while maintaining safety, quality, and reliability of GE wind assets.

The role requires extensive wind turbine knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, and willingness to travel up to 100% to wind sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wind troubleshooting experience
• 1+ year in EHS, SQC, or lead role OR 5+ years wind troubleshooting experience
• Able to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Execute contractual obligations with customer requirements daily
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines
• Read and explain schematics, manuals, and procedures
• Adhere to EH&S processes and regulations
• Document all work in service reporting systems
• Coordinate with remote operations center as needed
• Mentor peers and assist site operations as directed by manager
• Travel to and work at wind sites within hub TX 12 as assigned
• Support site leadership to meet contract timelines
