Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to join the Texas Hub 3 wind sites. This role requires local travel and works with the Site Lead to meet contract requirements and ensure alignment with GE excellence.

The position involves turbine maintenance, fault diagnosis, safety, and warranty repair, with responsibilities including documenting work and coordinating with GE's remote operations center. A High School Diploma/GED and wind-related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic, or wind-related certificate/associate degree.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair or replace parts on GE wind turbines.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Work with GE's remote operations center when needed.
