Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to perform maintenance and repair on GE wind turbines across the hub WY1. The role requires daily site work, safety adherence, and coordination with Site Lead to fulfill contract obligations.

Candidates should have a HS diploma and relevant turbine or electrical experience, with flexibility to travel between sites and work rotating shifts. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or 2 years electrical work; passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements and daily activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Support site operations with safety and supervision as needed.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
