Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Tiger Team Technician I to support regional operations at a wind farm. The role involves bearing exchanges, gearbox work, pitch ram and yaw drive tasks, troubleshooting, and safety training.

You will maintain tools and help guide the O&M team, traveling up to 50% as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma, an unrestricted license, and relevant wind/technical background.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass physical fitness tests for GWO certification.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour drive of site.
• Experience in wind, solar, and BESS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure safety in all activities per site policies and procedures.
• Climb wind towers daily to perform maintenance tasks.
• Lift and transport equipment to the job site.
• Monitor and direct maintenance contractors when needed.
• Lead or conduct tests on systems after maintenance or outages.
• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing, pitch ram, gearbox work, and software updates.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
