Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Wind Farm Technician II to support the operations and maintenance of wind farms and related facilities, ensuring safety and maximizing availability. The role covers safe execution of scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with responsibility for tools and records in the CMMS, and technical guidance to the O&M team.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
Minimum 4 years of work experience in operations/maintenance in power generation, transmission and/or distribution
Wind turbine experience preferred (Vestas, GE, Acciona, Nordex)
License or Certification substitutions include Journeyman/Master Electrician and Wind Tech Certificate
Unrestricted driver license in good standing

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation and maintenance activities at wind farm sites
Assist in acceptance and performance tests on systems and equipment
Support turbine maintenance including services, major components, and troubleshooting
Maintain tools, equipment, and records in the maintenance management system
Follow environmental and safety policies and procedures
