Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician II to join a small, focused group supporting regional wind farm operations. The role covers generator bearing exchanges, gearbox and pitch ram work, troubleshooting, and safety training.

Expect field assignments, tool readiness, and leadership in safety and performance tasks. The position requires 4+ years in wind, solar, or BESS, with the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2- or 4-year technical degree acceptable with related licenses.
• Valid driver license in good standing required.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour of site.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine maintenance including bearings, pitch ram, gearbox, and shaft work.
• Lead or assist acceptance and performance tests after maintenance or outages.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE use at all times.
• Monitor contractors and enforce corrective actions as needed.
• Travel up to 50% and support multiple site locations.
