Job summary

Nordex North America seeks a Site Leadership Manager to guide Site Managers and support wind farm construction projects across North America. You will provide leadership, direction, and operational oversight to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality compliance on multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, construction management expertise, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation, with travel across the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in renewable energy, heavy civil construction, or related industry.
• 3+ years in site management or field operations leadership.
• Proven success leading multiple projects and dispersed teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching and development capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% across the U.S. and Canada; valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Site Managers and Site Manager Assistants across North America.
• Establish field leadership standards, performance expectations, and succession planning.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Provide operational oversight for wind farm construction projects (delivery to closeout).
• Monitor safety, schedule, cost, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Support Site Managers in coordinating complex construction, logistical, contractual, and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commissioning, and Service teams to ensure project success.
• Manage staffing plans, mobilization, and demobilization across projects.
• Review site budgets, forecasts, risks, and resource utilization.
• Support customer relationships and participate in executive-level meetings.
• Lead continuous improvement, lessons learned, and process standardization across sites.
• Ensure compliance with Nordex QHSE standards.
