Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of large wind projects in the U.S. and Canada.

You will manage governance, schedule, budget, and customer relationships while coordinating cross-functional teams across Commercial PM, Site, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance. You will mentor project managers, drive risk management, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience managing complex energy, infrastructure, or large construction projects.
• 8+ years in wind project management, wind construction, or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record with customer governance, contract administration, and financial forecasting.
• Experience mentoring project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Lead project governance across the full lifecycle from sales handover to handover to service.
• Own integrated project performance balancing safety, schedule, cost, and cash.
• Serve as primary customer interface with executives, contractors, and Nordex leadership.
• Establish and maintain project controls, schedules, risk registers, and change management.
• Lead forecast reviews, cost tracking, and mitigation planning.
• Coordinate contractual obligations, change orders, and dispute avoidance.
• Support execution readiness with resource planning, logistics, and site readiness.
• Define technical solutions with Engineering and global functions.
• Ensure compliance with Nordex QHSE policies and contractual obligations.
• Mentor and coach project teams; travel to sites and offices as needed.
