Job summary

Longroad Energy is seeking an Operations Manager for the Canadian Hills Wind Project, a 132-turbine, 292 MW facility in Calumet, Oklahoma. You will lead day-to-day wind operations, maintenance, and site administration in alignment with corporate strategies.

Key focus areas include safety leadership, turbine availability, cost control, and regulatory compliance, with oversight of site personnel, contractors, and community stakeholders. Strong leadership and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in wind/renewable energy operations and maintenance.
• Experience managing budgets, maintenance programs, contracts or vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of safety programs, environmental requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard business software; strong reporting skills.
• Ability to work safely in a wind facility, including work at heights and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance across the wind facility, including turbines and support systems.
• Develop and improve site procedures and maintenance practices for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor performance, address issues, and partner with teams to implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and stakeholder communications; travel as needed.
