Job summary

Longroad Energy is seeking an Operations Manager for the Meadow Creek Wind Project in Idaho Falls, ID. You will oversee day-to-day wind farm operations, maintenance, safety and budget management, while leading site personnel and coordinating with contractors to optimize performance.

The role requires 3+ years in wind/energy operations, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of HV systems and regulatory standards. On-site work with travel and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of a wind or energy facility with leadership responsibility.
• Experience with Budget and/or Project Management.
• Experience with contract execution and vendor management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in an energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and maintenance activities across the facility, including WTGs, substations, HV equipment and balance of plant.
• Develop and implement site procedures and standards to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Monitor performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and availability.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety programs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to site personnel and contractors, including performance management and training.
• Manage the site operating budget and oversee contracts and OEM warranties.
