Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Tender Manager to join our project management team in the United States. You will lead contract negotiations, assess risk factors, and perform cost calculations to deliver reliable bids for wind energy projects.

Working with the local Sales team, you’ll coordinate schedules with planning, procurement and logistics, support pre-tender decisions, and travel up to 25% across the USA, CAD and Germany.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Sales engineering, project management, business management, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience including multi-million-dollar contracts with strong commercial/financial knowledge.
• Contract negotiation experience; wind energy or turnkey construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations for PM topics with clients, virtually and in person.
• Identify and evaluate project risk; ensure mitigation is integrated into contracts.
• Prepare cost calculations to support execution schedules and related topics (WTG installation, crane works).
• Coordinate project schedules with planning, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Provide thorough project handovers to execution teams.
• Support clients and BOP contractors with PM questions during the sales phase.
